Pump Up The Jam (and another fun giveaway!)

Hello everyone!  I have been working a lot recently and one of the benefits of having a home office that I really appreciate is that I can crank the music whenever I need motivation to get through a big project or tons of orders.  The louder the better here!

Lately, I have been listening to The Pixies (just saw them in concert!), Adele (her new album is seriously AMAZING!) and the new Foo Fighters (OMG - rock!).  Music can get me pumped, mellow me out or help me think a little clearer.  Which got me to thinking, what do you like to listen to when you are sewing or crafting?

Comment below and you will be entered into a giveaway for a $10.00 Apple iTunes gift card!  Leave a comment with your favorite sounds, music or artist and make sure you leave a way to contact you in case you win.  One entry per person per day, please.  Drawing will be held on the evening of May 1st - I will announce the winner here on the blog.  Good Luck!

  2. It is always different. Sometimes I listen to nothing but silence, if my kids are asleep. It helps me pay attention to what I am doing.

  3. I love listening to music when I'm sewing! I like what you mentioned, but some of my go-to artists right now are Death Cab, Foo Fighters, and Cloud Cult!

  4. Kalan Porter is one of my favorites...was the winner of Canadian Idol season 2...he's amazing in concert, seen him more times than I can count :) Besides sing, he plays numerous instruments such as the viola, piano, drums, and I'm not sure the others. He's been out of the limelight for the last 2 years I believe, writing his 3rd cd. Looking forward to its release... stamptails@hotmail.com

  5. Hmmm, usually guitar or movie. I really don't have my own sewing room yet, so I share the sounds too :). Candy at fiber dot net
